1. How It Works
Syndicast is an all-in-one radio promotion platform connecting record labels and artists with licensed radio stations worldwide.
Through Syndicast, your music is promoted to a global network of 2,800+ licensed radio stations across 120+ countries. Once your campaign goes live, it becomes available to radio stations through their personal Syndicast dashboard, where they can discover new releases, preview tracks, and download the assets included in your campaign, such as the Radio Edit, Extended Mix, and Artist Promo Edit (if applicable). Once downloaded, your music is ready for immediate broadcast, while remaining available to our network for five years, giving your release long-term exposure beyond the initial promotional push.
To maximise visibility, Syndicast supports your campaign with a range of in-platform promotional tools, including featured placements, homepage banners, newsletters, pop-ups, and intelligent recommendations that help match your release with the radio stations most likely to support it.
Throughout your campaign, you'll have access to a real-time analytics dashboard, allowing you to monitor downloads, campaign activity, and promotional performance as they happen. Every campaign also includes one year of worldwide radio airplay monitoring powered by WARM and one year of streaming and social analytics powered by Songstats, giving you a complete overview of your campaign's performance across radio, Spotify, Shazam, TikTok, and other major platforms. Detailed reports can be exported at any time in PDF, Excel, or CSV format, making it easy to analyse results and share them with your team or clients.
2. Who can use the service?
The service can be used by any type of record label, independent artist, or artist management.
Please note that if you are an artist and wish to promote your own song, released by a record label (not owned by you), we would need the approval of that record label to launch the campaign.
3. Quality Control
We reserve the right to approve or reject any submitted music releases.
It is important that we review the track and related assets (release details, metadata, audio files, press pack, description, artwork) before you proceed with kicking off the campaign. We aim to make the stations happy with our content and music creators happy with the campaign results, therefore we have a quality team who checks the songs individually. If a song is well-edited, mastered, and radio-friendly, we proceed.
4. Required Assets
The following assets are necessary for setting up a radio promotion campaign:
- Radio edit in wav*
- Extended mix in wav (optional)
- Track metadata* (name of the artist, title of the song, version, release date, label name)
- ISRC code(s)*
- Artwork* (min 2000x2000px to 3000x3000px; 5MB max.)
- Description*
- PR material about the release (optional)
5. Artist Promo Edit (Optional)
If you choose a campaign that includes an Artist Promo Edit, we'll produce a custom radio version of your track featuring a short artist introduction at the beginning. This adds an exclusive feel and a personal touch for radio stations, making your release even more engaging for presenters and listeners.
To create the Artist Promo Edit, we'll need a short voice recording from the artist in addition to the standard campaign assets. Production usually takes around 2 working days, and the completed edit will be sent to you for approval before it becomes available to radio stations.
Here are a few examples of artist voice recordings that work well:
a, One artist:
Sentence 1: “Hey, this is {name of the artist}, and you’re listening to my song {name of the track}.”
Sentence 2: “On your favourite station.”
b, One artist and one or more featuring artist(s):
Sentence 1: “Hey, this is {name of the artist}, and you’re listening to my song {name of the track}, featuring {name of the featuring artist}.”
Sentence 2: “On your favourite station.”
