How does radio promotion work with Syndicast?

Syndicast makes it simple to create and launch a professional radio promotion campaign. After registering, you can set up your campaign in a few steps by uploading your track, artwork and release information, including details such as the artist name, label, genre, ISRC and other relevant metadata. You can then choose your target regions and campaign start date.

Before a campaign goes live, every release is individually reviewed by our Quality Control Team. We check the audio, presentation and metadata to make sure the release is professionally prepared for radio. Accurate metadata is particularly important, as radio stations use this information in their own systems and, depending on the station and territory, it may also form part of music reporting and royalty workflows.

Once the campaign has been approved and payment completed, the release becomes available to relevant radio music editors, programme directors, presenters and other radio professionals within the Syndicast network. They can listen to the track, review the release information, download the music and independently decide whether it fits their station, programme or audience.

From that point, you can follow the campaign through real-time data. Radio downloads appear as they happen, while monitored airplay is added shortly after a broadcast is detected. You can see which stations are supporting the release, where airplay is developing and how activity builds across different countries over time.

Every campaign also includes one year of worldwide airplay monitoring through WARM, while Songstats provides additional streaming, social and music discovery data. Together, these insights help you understand not only whether your music is being played, but also where momentum may be developing and where additional promotion could make sense.

A launch is therefore only the beginning of the campaign. The real value comes from seeing how radio responds, following the results and using that information to support your wider release strategy.
