How does syndication work at Syndicast?

Once your show is approved and launched on Syndicast, we make it available to programme directors across our network of licensed radio stations. Stations can listen to the show, review its details and decide whether it is a good fit for their programming.

We also actively promote the show across the network through in platform promotion, banners, pop ups, partner newsletters and ongoing radio PR. This keeps the show visible to programme directors as new schedule opportunities become available.

For a station to start broadcasting your show, two things need to happen:

  1. They need to like the show and feel it fits their audience and format.
  2. They need to have an available slot in their schedule.

When a station wants to carry the show, it subscribes through Syndicast. As part of the subscription, the station provides its planned broadcast day and time, together with a public link confirming the show on its website or social media.

Our team reviews every new subscription before it is approved. Once everything is confirmed, you receive an email letting you know that a new station has subscribed to your show.

The station can then access each new episode through Syndicast in the available audio formats or receive it automatically on its server via FTP. Stations are also notified whenever a new episode becomes available.

From that point, the station remains subscribed to the show and can continue receiving new episodes for its regular broadcast slot. You can track which stations carry your show, when they broadcast it and how your syndication network develops through your Syndicast reports.
